On 11 October 2021, the Real Property Amendment (Certificates of Title) Act 2021 commenced, which abolished the Certificates of Title (CTs) and the control of the right to deal (CoRD) framework. All existing CTs have been cancelled and CTs will no longer be issued. Existing CTs will not need to be produced, and CoRD holder consent will not be required, for a dealing or plan to be registered. All existing Guidelines subject to this change are currently being reviewed and will be updated to reflect these changes. A Digital Form Builder is available on NSW LRS Connect which enables the creation of:

  • Administration sheets for Deposited Plans, Strata Plans and Community Plans, and
  • Section 88B Instruments.

Fees payable

Fees are payable at time of lodgment.

  • Cheques, Money Orders, cash and credit card payments (Visa and Mastercard) are acceptable.
  • Cheques and money orders are to be made payable to NSW Land Registry Services.
  • Personal cheques must have identification evidence provided by individuals.
  • Credit Card payment: Visa and Mastercard only. American Express and Diners Club are no longer accepted by NSW LRS.
  • Credit card limit $40,000 per card per day.
  • Individual Debit Card limits apply.
